Four weeks into the season, the path to the next Southeastern Conference Championship Game is becoming clear.
At this point, less than half the league has a realistic shot to win the conference title (not including Missouri, which is currently ineligible to advance to the league title game), with the rest of the league looking up at Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State and Ole Miss — which are the only undefeated teams left in SEC play.
That number will drop by two this weekend as Alabama and Ole Miss face off in Tuscaloosa and Auburn and Mississippi State match up on The Plains.
A month into the season, new SEC title odds have been released (Missouri not included in the list) from Las Vegas-based Circa Sports. The top of the list doesn’t have much value but if you like Florida, Auburn or Mississippi State to pull off a few upsets, each of those teams come with some real value entering the final weekend of September.
Here are the updated SEC Championship odds that were recently released:
- Alabama 10/11
- Georgia 2.5/1
- LSU 4/1
- Florida 15/1
- Auburn 15/1
- Mississippi State 100/1
- Texas A&M 100/1
- Tennessee 100/1
- Arkansas 100/1
- Ole Miss 100/1
- Vanderbilt 100/1
- South Carolina 500/1
- Vanderbilt 500/1
