What will 2018 hold for the SEC Championship Game?
Greg McElroy, David Pollack and Gene Chizik were featured on the SEC Network during Sunday’s inaugural SEC Summerfest, and it was a clean sweep in Alabama’s favor. All three predicted the Tide to win the SEC West and Georgia to win the SEC East.

Auburn could once again play spoiler in the West, as the Tigers did in 2017. Auburn beat Alabama 26-14 in the Iron Bowl, and the Tigers eventually lost to Georgia 28-7 in the SEC Championship Game. As we all know, the Tide knocked off the Bulldogs in the College Football Playoff national championship game 26-23.
While Georgia is the heavy favorite in the SEC East, a team like Florida or South Carolina will need to play spoiler.
