SEC commissioner Greg Sankey is not in attendance for an SEC matchup on Saturday, but rather a future-SEC matchup.

Sankey is in Dallas for the Red River Rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma this week. Ahead of the game, he was seen meeting with Oklahoma athletics director Joe Castiglione.

The matchup on Saturday is the last between Texas and Oklahoma that will be played in the Big 12, as both teams are set to join the SEC in 2024. Sankey and other SEC administration are certainly excited for the 2 teams to join the conference next season.

The game between Texas and Oklahoma kicks off at noon ET and should be a fun one. Both teams come into the game undefeated and looking for a big win.

With Texas already downing Alabama earlier this year, a win over Oklahoma would be just another resume builder for the College Football Playoff. Meanwhile, Oklahoma is searching for a signature win as it tries to make a case for the CFP.
