Last week, the LSU Tigers made the controversial decision to reinstate basketball coach Will Wade from a suspension that cost him the SEC and NCAA Tournaments.

The federal trial involving Wade and Arizona coach Sean Miller is still forthcoming, which made the Tigers’ decision even more interesting, and on Monday, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey discussed that choice.

Speaking with reporters, Sankey said the story of Will Wade isn’t over yet, adding that the trial will provide a lot more information as all involved parties move forward:

Wade isn’t out of the woods yet, and it’ll be interesting to see how things play out over the next few weeks.

Sankey’s comments were very measured on Monday, and it seems everyone is in a holding pattern until the trial is over.
