The bowl season has come and gone, and the stars of the college game have less than two weeks left to either declare for the NFL Draft or opt to return for another year of school.
So far, 49 underclassmen from across the country have declared themselves eligible for April’s draft, including 13 players from the SEC. The deadline for underclassmen to declare is Thursday, Jan. 15.
Two years ago, a record 73 underclassmen declared for the draft, and last year that record was broken when 98 underclassmen made themselves draft-eligible. With the bowl season now behind us, it is expected many underclassmen will finalize their decisions one way or another in the coming week.
Here’s an updated list of the 13 SEC underclassmen who have already made their commitment to the April 30 draft official:
Kwon Alexander, LB, LSU
Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn
Jalen Collins, CB, LSU
Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina
Dante Fowler Jr., DE/LB, Florida
Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
D.J. Humphries, OT, Florida
Danielle Hunter, DE, LSU
Matt Jones, RB, Florida
Tyler Moore, OG, Florida
Shane Ray, DE, Missouri
Josh Robinson, RB, Mississippi State
Shaq Roland, WR, South Carolina
