A pair of surprise ranked SEC teams meet each other in Week 9 in Nashville, as Missouri and Vanderbilt square off in a game now set for 3:30 pm ET on ESPN.
The SEC utilized the 6-day exception window to determine whether Mizzou-Vandy or Texas-Mississippi State would play in the 3:30 pm ET spot. With the Commodores and Tigers now going in that ESPN timeslot, the Longhorns and Bulldogs will kickoff at 4:15 pm ET and be broadcast on the SEC Network.

Vanderbilt is sure to move up from its No. 17 ranking after taking down then-No. 10 LSU 31-24 in Week 8. Heisman Trophy candidate Diego Pavia passed for 160 yard and a touchdown and led the Commodores with 86 rushing yards and two more TDs.
Then-No. 16 Missouri is also primed to move up in the polls after outlasting Auburn on the road 23-17 in double overtime. Tigers quarterback Beau Pribula recorded a 3-yard rushing touchdown in the second overtime, and Mizzou sacked Auburn’s Jackson Arnold on 4th down to preserve the victory.
The other SEC games in Week 9 see Ole Miss hitting the road to take on Oklahoma for a noon ET kickoff that will air on the ABC Network.
Auburn’s road matchup against Arkansas will start at 12:45 ET and will be broadcast on the SEC Network, and that will lead into Alabama hitting the road against South Carolina at 3:30 ET, which will also be airing on ABC.
The SEC on ABC tripleheader for Week 9 will then conclude in Baton Rouge, as Texas A&M face off against LSU for a 7:30 pm ET kick at Death Valley. And Tennessee’s road game against Kentucky will cap things off on the SEC Network for what has been penciled in as a 7:45 pm ET start time.
