Last season, South Carolina and LSU played a very close game in Columbia, but the Tigers ultimately prevailed. For LSU, this year’s game is likely a must-win if it hopes to get into the College Football Playoff this year. Both the Tigers and Gamecocks were idle in Week 6.
Florida and Texas A&M met in the Swamp last season and the Aggies prevailed 33-20. Texas A&M is 4-3 all-time against the Gators.
Week 7 is a loaded week on the calendar for the SEC. In addition to the games mentioned above, the SEC will also have a top-25 matchup between Mizzou and Alabama as well as the annual Red River Rivalry game between Oklahoma and Texas.
