Arkansas has been fined by the SEC after fans stormed the court following the Razorbacks’ win over a top-10 Duke team.
The SEC considers Wednesday night to be a first offense under the league’s revised access to competition area policy. A first offense comes with a $100,000 fine for Arkansas. If it happens again, the program will be fined $250,000 for the second offense and $500,000 for the third time and subsequent offenses.
Fans at Bud Walton Area wasted no time celebrating when the clock hit 0:00 on Arkansas’ 80-75 upset win over No. 7 Duke.

Eric Musselman’s team improved to 5-3 on the season with the win over the Blue Devils, snapping a 2-game losing skid from the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas. The Hogs are now 4-1 on the season at home, with the loss coming to UNC Greensboro on Nov. 17.
Arkansas will look to make it a winning streak as the Razorbacks host Furman on Monday. The Hogs have 1 more notable nonconference game before getting into SEC play. The Razorbacks will face Oklahoma on Dec. 9 in Tulsa. Arkansas faces Auburn on Jan. 6 for its first conference contest of the season.
