The SEC’s Week 9 schedule gives us the weakest day of the year. Only 4 SEC games happen Saturday, and only 1 of them pits two ranked teams against one another.
No. 10 Ole Miss travels to No. 18 Auburn Saturday in what figures to be a very interesting matchup in the SEC West. It’s basically a SEC Championship elimination game. Auburn is about a 3-point favorite at home.
No. 1 Georgia also faces Florida in the Cocktail Party. Florida’s disappointing 4-3 season has obviously put a damper on this game; however, the Gators are plenty talented enough to make this a close game.
No. 12 Kentucky also travels to Starkville to face Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are a 1.5-point favorite entering Saturday. This could be the sleeper game of the day.
