Rookie Rewind: How the SEC’s true freshmen fared in Week 8

Let’s take a team-by-team look at some the true freshmen who made a difference around the SEC in Week 8:
Alabama: Tyren Jones rushed for 34 yards on nine yards. Cam Sims caught three passes for 14 yards. Trey Depriest recorded five tackles, including one for loss. Da’Shawn hand finished with one tackle.
Arkansas: Jared Cornelius caught four passes for 38 yards. Kendrick Edwards caught one pass for four yards. Henre’ Toliver recorded two tackles, including one sack. Randy Ramsey had two tackles. Josh Liddell recorded one tackle.
Florida: Treon Harris threw for 98 yards, a touchdown and an interception on 8-of-12 passing, while rushing for 26 yards and a touchdown on eight attempts. Brandon Powell rushed for 37 yards on seven carries. C.J. Worton caught one pass for four yards. Jalen Tabor recorded one tackle.
Georgia: Nick Chubb rushed for 202 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries, while also catching a pass for eight yards. Dominick Sanders recorded four tackles and a fumble recovery. Lorenzo Carter finished with one tackle. Malkom Parrish had one tackle.
Kentucky: Stanley “Boom” Williams finished with 94 all purpose yards, including 60 kick return yards, 19 rushing and 15 receiving. Mikel Horton rushed for 29 yards on five carries. Garrett Johnson caught two passes for 30 yards. Blake Bone recorded 15 yards on two catches. Travaughn Pachal had 10 tackles. Reggie Meant finished with one tackle.
LSU: Darrel Williams rushed for 61 yards on 10 carries. Leonard Fournette had 40 yards and a touchdown on 15 rushes. Brandon Harris rushed for eight yards on one attempt. Jamal Adams finished with eight tackles, including one sack and an assisted tackle for loss. Duke Riley had two tackles. Davon Godchaux finished with two tackles. Greg Gilmore had one tackle.
Ole Miss: Jordan Wilkins rushed for 45 yards on six carries. DeVante Kincade had 16 yards on three carries. Eugene Brazley caught one pass for one yard. Marquis Haynes had five tackles, including 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble. DeMarquis Gates finished with three tackles and a forced fumble. A.J. Moore had one tackle. C.J. Moore finished with one tackle.
Missouri: Ish Witter rushed for one yard on two carries. Thomas Wilson had three tackles.
South Carolina: Chris Lammons had five tackles. Al Harris Jr. had one tackle.
Tennessee: Josh Malone had a season-best 75 yards on five catches. Jalen Hurd rushed for 40 yards on 13 carries. Ethan Wolf had one catch for six yards. Evan Berry recorded 59 kick return yards. Derek Barnett recorded a season-best 10 tackles, including two sacks and four tackles for loss. Todd Kelly Jr. had three tackles. Emmanuel Moseley had two tackles and one pass breakup.
Texas A&M: James White rushed for four yards on one carry. Speedy Noil caught four passes for 32 yards. James White had one catch for one yard. Armani Watts recorded four tackles. Myles Garrett had three tackles. Nick Harvey recorded three tackles. Otaro Alaka had three tackles. Donovan Wilson finished with two tackles. Victor Davis had two tackles.
