SEC lands 7 players on The Sporting News All-America Team

The SEC had some familiar faces make it on The Sporting News All-America Team.
Led by Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels, the SEC had 7 players make the first team. Overall, there were 16 players from the SEC honored.
Alabama led all schools with 6 players across the first- and second teams. Edge rusher Dallas Turner and cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry were first-team selections.
Turner became the 41st player of the Nick Saban era to earn consensus All-America status Wednesday when he was named a first-team All-American.
LSU joined Michigan, Notre Dame and Iowa with a pair of first-team selections, Daniels and WR Malik Nabers.
Also on the team were Missouri RB Cody Schrader, Georgia TE Brock Bowers and Kentucky KR Barion Brown.
