“SEC Nation” is coming to the Plains.
During “The Paul Finebaum Show” Friday from Gainesville, Fla., Paul Finebaum announced that he, Laura Rutledge, Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and the rest of the “SEC Nation” crew will be traveling to Auburn for the AU-Tennessee game.
No. 8 Auburn is 4-1 entering a Week 6 showdown with a scuffling Mississippi State squad. Gus Malzahn’s squad notched an impressive win over Washington to start the season, but stumbled in Week 3 against division rival LSU. Since then, AU has knocked off Arkansas and Southern Miss to start a new winning streak.
Tennessee has a bye in Week 6 in the midst of a difficult stretch. The Volunteers have lost back-to-back games to SEC East rivals Florida and Georgia. A win over Auburn could give coach Jeremy Pruitt a huge momentum boost in his first season.
Auburn-Tennessee is set for a Noon ET kickoff. The game will air on either ESPN or the SEC Network.
