SEC Network analyst Booger McFarland has posted his takeaways from Week 10 of the college football season.
We tend to perk up when McFarland provides his analysis due to his brute (and usually spot-on) honesty. He didn’t hold back on his thoughts from Saturday’s results:
Bama- Hurts played like a fresh. then played like he has all year, he was difference, run defense GREAT, williams/Allen are unblockable

Auburn- JF3 cant throw , white made a BIG diff yestersay, Pettway was dominant, concerned about injury though, defense played very well

Arkansas- complete team win, oline handled Gator front for the most part, running game came alive and Allen was steady,defense flying around

LSU- defense was really good, oline, tight ends, fullback were really bad Etling was rushing due to getting killed, Fournette missed holes

Miss St- Fitzgerald may make u forget about Dak in a couple years, dfense was key they were more physical/played with a faster tempo

Texas AM- defensively same ole story missed tackles, SOFT & poor effort , losing Knight hurt but they still put up points, BAD BAD loss

Ole MIss- ho hum win, trailed early, still waiting on Landshark defense to play a game this year, running ball more on offense settled game

Tennessee- played with more urgency, Dobbs completed passes consistently, still alive for the east, Kelly showed a lot of toughness/burst

Florida- Del Rio is playing terrible, 12 yards rushing is on the play calling and oline, defense didnt show up in front 7 nor secondary

Georgia- balance on offense finally, Chubb/Michel ran tough and explosive, 2 minute drive by Eason was growing up moment, def did just enuf

Kentucky- 2 many mistakes/dropped balls, run game was good, really good but have to b able to throw more than go routes, bigger games 2 come

S Carolina- Bentley fever,he brings so much energy/hope to team,wish he wouldve been there game 1,defense developing that muschamp mentality

Missouri- defense was better but still not good enough, Lock /receivers were inconsistent at best, growing pains still in Columbia

Vandy- Shurmur played his best game probably , defense was pretty good most of the day, too many drops by receivers for consistent offense
