SEC Media Days always end with the media’s selections to win each SEC division as well as the conference overall. With the three favorites expected to contender for the East division having already spoken following the first two days of the league’s annual media event, the SEC Network’s panel of analysts revealed their picks to take home the title in 2016.

So who did they pick?

Greg McElroy went with Florida, while Booger McFarland and Marcus Spears both picked Tennessee.

A former quarterback under Gator head coach Jim McElwain during his days as Alabama’s offensive coordinator, McElroy has not been bashful for his love of the Gators during the week.

Immediately after making those picks, despite not hearing from either Nick Saban or Les Miles yet, the trio also made their selections to win the West. Once again, the three-man panel was divided in their opinions, as each of them went homer with their selections.

Greg McElroy went with Alabama, while Booger McFarland and Marcus Spears went with LSU – which is where they both went to school.

Expect these picks to mirror the media’s selections – which will be revealed Thursday — as the four schools listed are the presumed favorites to advance to Atlanta in December for the SEC Championship Game.
