The dog days of the SEC sports offseason are here earlier than usual thanks to the conference’s spring sports activities being shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak.

With no sports going on, the SEC Network will have two weeks of team takeovers. The network shared the team order for the two-week takeover on Sunday. The team takeovers will air in alphabetical order (with the team in Oxford being referred to as the Mississippi Rebels for this purpose).

Week 1

  • Monday, March 16 – Alabama
  • Tuesday, March 17 – Arkansas
  • Wednesday, March, 18 – Auburn
  • Thursday, March 19 – Florida
  • Friday, March 20 – Georgia
  • Saturday, March 21 – Kentucky
  • Sunday, March 22 – LSU

Week 2

  • Monday, March 23 – Ole Miss
  • Tuesday, March 24 – Mississippi State
  • Wednesday, March 25 – Missouri
  • Thursday, March 26 – South Carolina
  • Friday, March 27 – Tennessee
  • Saturday, March 28 – Texas A&M
  • Sunday, March 29 – Vanderbilt

As recently as July 2018, the SEC Network “Takeover” featured team days similar to the next two-weeks schedule. Last year, the network changed the July takeover format, allowing certain network personalities to pick the programming for the day.
