SEC Network knows that Saturday night’s Alabama-Georgia showdown is one of the most anticipated games in this conference’s rich history, at least in recent years.
So, sensing the moment and that the day had finally arrived, the network put out a 29-second hype video that will surely get the juices flowing for Crimson Tide and Bulldogs fans, not to mention college football fans in general.
This is going to be a war

Second-ranked Georgia and 4th-ranked Alabama will kick things off at just after 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC, as they collide in a rare regular-season matchup that will help determine the rest of the regular season for both teams. The result of Saturday night’s game will also help shape the 12-team College Football Playoff that will be determined in early December.
Early December is when Georgia and Alabama usually match up, with the SEC title at stake. That happened last December in Atlanta, where the Crimson Tide upset the Bulldogs to prevent Georgia from playing for its 3rd straight national championship. Instead, the Crimson Tide went on to the Playoff, where they lost to eventual national champion Michigan in an epic semifinal game.
Nearly 10 months later, Alabama and Georgia will hook up in Tuscaloosa as Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer gets his 1st taste of the pressure cooker after leading Alabama to 3 easy wins to start the season.
Both Georgia and Alabama are 3-0 and coming off a bye week, so the 2 teams will be rested and ready for Saturday night’s epic collision.
