Bo Nix led Auburn to a 48-11 win over LSU on Saturday with his best outing of the year thus far. The sophomore was 18-of-24 for 300 yards—throwing for 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions—while adding 11 carries for 81 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

It was a great performance to move Auburn to 4-2 on the season, a performance Spencer Hall described as only he could.

“Efficiency and comfort,” said the SEC Network personality on Monday’s edition of “Thinking Out Loud.” “I don’t want to make him sound too much like a nice minivan, but he was efficient and he was comfortable, and he got Auburn to where they needed to go.”

However, while Nix showed signs of growth, Hall added that the Tigers’ signal-caller still has a bit more to go to reach his full potential.

“This is a quarterback playing within the system and maturing before our eyes,” he said. “I don’t think he’s there yet. I don’t think he’s fully mature, but this was as positive [of] a development in his development as a player as he’s had yet, and he was already pretty good.”
