Another Sunday during college football season means that the SEC Network’s Cole Cubelic is back with his takeaways for all 14 SEC teams.
Cubelic complimented a “wonderful plan” by Arkansas offensive coordinator Kendal Briles and defensive coordinator Barry Odom, noting how the Razorbacks “won the (line of scrimmage) on both sides of the ball” in an upset win over Texas A&M.
He was complimentary of Georgia, who he called “absolutely dominant” while possessing a “championship demeanor” and a defense that’s putting up stats that “don’t feel real”. Brock Bowers, who had a breakout performance against Vanderbilt, caught the eye of Cubelic, who called the true freshman tight end a “cheat code”.
Alabama’s Jameson Williams, who returned 2 kickoffs for touchdowns against Southern Miss, was among the players that received a shoutout, as was Kentucky defensive back Carrington Valentine.
Here are all of Cubelic’s Week 4 takeaways:
We do it each week, My Sunday SEC takeaways…
ALABAMA: Handled their business. Was interested to see where they were emotionally after last week. QB magnificent. 19 & 81 on the field together will be tough to defend. Need some DL probably soon. Found a legit game changer on STs
