Week 5 of college football is in the books, and teams are beginning to cement themselves as front runners for the College Football Playoff.

Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Penn State are the top four teams in the AP Poll, and each team has a valid claim to be there. Alabama is on another dominant stretch under Nick Saban, Clemson has answered every test it has faced, OU knocked off Ohio State on the road, and PSU is led by dynamic RB Saquon Barkley.

There is still a lot of football left to be played, but it is never to early to put out postseason predictions. Cole Cubelic listed his teams for the CFP if the season ended today, and two SEC teams made the cut.

Alabama and Georgia certainly look a cut above other SEC teams this season. This CFP list and seeding would also provide an opportunity for either a re-match between Alabama and Clemson or an all-SEC CFP Championship game between Alabama and UGA.

It remains to be seen if the CFP will ever feature two teams from one conference, but Alabama and UGA are making a strong case so far this season.
