Jimbo Fisher missed a production meeting with the SEC Network, causing some speculation about his absence. Yet, broadcaster Tom Hart has now confirmed that he later connected with the Texas A&M coach.

Hart told ESPN’s Paul Finebaum that he initially thought Fisher bailed on the meeting scheduled for Friday morning. However, Hart was able to catch up with Fisher for a Zoom meeting as Texas A&M gets set to host No. 15 Ole Miss.

“Just wrapped up a production meeting via zoom with Jimbo after running into scheduling issues this morning,” Hart said. “Always appreciate coaches finding time for us and look forward to sharing that information during the game. Thanks to SID Alan Cannon and his staff for making it happen.”

Texas A&M is on a 3-game losing streak. Their last victory came against Arkansas on Sept. 24. Since then, Texas A&M has lost to Mississippi State, Alabama, and South Carolina.

Ole Miss fell at LSU last week after starting the season 7-0. LSU rallied from a 17-3 deficit in the second quarter to earn the win. LSU didn’t commit a turnover and amassed 500 total yards in the victory.

Ole Miss-Texas A&M is slated to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on the SEC Network.
