College football’s star underclassmen have less than a week to declare themselves eligible for this year’s NFL Draft, and with the bowl season behind us many of the SEC’s dominoes have already begun to fall.
So far, 66 underclassmen from across the country have declared themselves eligible for April’s draft, including 18 players from the SEC. The deadline for underclassmen to declare is Thursday, Jan. 15.
Two years ago, a record 73 underclassmen declared for the draft, and last year that record was broken when 98 underclassmen made themselves draft-eligible.
