It’s no secret: The SEC is still a hotbed for NFL talent.
The NFL season is underway with Week 1 officially in the books. Training camp and the long preseason grind is behind and players now have a decent idea of where they stand each team’s roster.
It may be the start of a new season, but it looks like one thing has remained the same. The SEC is still the dominant conference in terms of players sent to the NFL.
The school leading the way with the most players on NFL active rosters is LSU with 39. Alabama came in second right behind LSU with a total of 38 players. The Florida Gators also managed to make the list and are tied with Clemson with 35 players in the NFL.
College Football 24/7 tweeted a graphic of the breakdown:

The SEC has been sending players to the NFL at an incredible rate, and that is a trend that is likely to continue for the near future.
