The sports world was saddened early Saturday morning by the passing of boxing legend Muhammad Ali at the age of 74. For a number of reasons, including his athletic excellence, philosophical wisdom and conviction in personal beliefs, Ali was a source of inspiration for SEC figures past and present. Tributes to the late boxer, in everything from a simple “RIP” to a photo of a tattoo, have been tweeted throughout the morning.
