SEC Shorts is back once again, dropping a midweek episode to set the scene for the hunt for the College Football Playoff. This time, the episode takes on a nature documentary theme as SEC teams play the role of wild animals hoping to lure a partner.
“Early in the November month, rising from a year-long hibernation, the college football world is rocked by the appearance of the College Football Playoff,” opens the narrator. “Her presence is immediately felt by all the top contenders.”
It begins with teams trying to show off their positive attributes to the Playoff. That includes a goal-post offering from Ole Miss after the win over Georgia and Tennessee showcasing an ESPN+ article pumping up the Vols.
However, the episode turns as teams try to hide their blemishes from the Playoff. Ole Miss is found burying its ugly loss to unranked Kentucky as the Playoff skips by.
A duel between Alabama and LSU in the great outdoors is captured with the Crimson Tide impressing the CFP with a win. Meanwhile, the Tigers quite literally lick their wounds, all while facing the prospect of being wooed by the TaxSlayer Bowl.
SEC Shorts continues to dominate the humorous side of the sport, and the latest episode is no different. Check it out:
