SEC Shorts is back, rounding up the Week 4 action in the conference with their latest episode! This time, the teams in the SEC make a trek to visit the “SEC Fairy Godmother,” where each team receives one wish.
Some of the wishes were exorbitant (such as Florida’s desire to clean house in the athletic department), while others were innocuous. Meanwhile, the overarching theme of gray areas in each wish plays itself out.
Texas A&M wished for the Aggies to reach Atlanta. However, instead of the SEC Championship, the Aggies are gifted tickets to the World of Coke.
Oklahoma had wishes of being better on offense. Unfortunately, the Sooners only received marginal improvements.
Mizzou wishes for a successful top 10 team, only to receive the gift of antacids. The reasoning involves every game containing astronomical stakes on the line.
Tennessee, Ole Miss and Alabama made relatively unassuming wishes considering their start to the season while Mississippi State used its wish on Vanderbilt getting a top 10 victory. However, Mizzou and Auburn arrived to put the Commodores back in their coffin as the segment concludes.
Here’s the full segment complete with all the wishes:
