8 SEC teams included in top 25 of ESPN’s updated post-Week 4 FPI rankings

Week 4 has now officially come and gone, and it was an exciting week of action around the country.
On Sunday, ESPN updated its Football Power Index (FPI) rankings, and 8 SEC teams made the cut for the top 25.
As you can see below, Alabama leads the way at No. 1, with Mizzou rounding out the 8 SEC teams at No. 20:
- No. 1 — Alabama
- No. 4 — Georgia
- No. 5 — LSU
- No. 9 — Auburn
- No. 12 — Florida
- No. 13 — Texas A&M
- No. 18 — Mississippi State
- No. 20 — Mizzou
It has been a thrilling year of SEC football so far, and that’s likely to continue moving forward. We’ll see how the FPI rankings shift following Week 5’s action.
