7 SEC commitments among rising stars in final ‘Top247’ release for 2016 recruiting class

The final “Top247” rankings of the 2016 recruiting cycle have been released by 247Sports.
Within that release, there were seven SEC commitments featured by 247Sports’ Barton Simmons as big movers in the final rankings.
Here’s a look at the future SEC players that were identified as part of the list that moved up the most:
50. DE Antonneous Clayton, Florida commitment
55. DE Nick Coe, Auburn commitment
79. DT Kendell Jones, Alabama commitment
99. LB BJ Emmons, Alabama commitment
101. OT Kellen Diesch, Texas A&M commitment
110. DE Andre Anthony, LSU commitment
124. RB Devwah Whaley, Arkansas commitment
It is interesting to note that Simmons also identified four uncommitted recruits as major movers on the list, which creates an opportunity for more SEC teams to grab a late riser before signing day.
