Earlier tonight, the Southeastern Conference handed out its weekly football honors to the top performers from this past week of SEC football.

Here are the following Week 11 award winners.

Offensive Player of the Week

Kyle Allen, QB, Texas A&M

It was Allen’s first career SEC start, but you wouldn’t have known it by watching the true freshman’s performance at Auburn. He torched the Tigers’ defense for 277 yards and four touchdowns en route to a huge upset over No. 3 ranked Auburn. Allen’s four touchdown passes also ties a Texas A&M freshman record.

Defensive Player of the Week

Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama

Saturday’s matchup between Alabama and LSU was a classic defensive battle and Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland was the best defender on the field that night. He set a career-high with 13 tackles against LSU and was an key part in Alabama holding LSU to just 259 total yards of offense through four quarters and an overtime period.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Isaiah McKenzie, ATH, Georgia

Nicknamed “The Human Joystick,” it was only a matter of time before Georgia’s electrifying true freshman broke out in the return game. On Saturday, McKenzie finally had his moments with two return touchdowns, including housing the opening kickoff.

Co-Freshman of the Week

Treon Harris, QB, Florida

In just his second start of the season, Treon Harris showed a different side of himself against Vanderbilt. Just one week after throwing just six passes against Georgia, Harris displayed a strong arm and playmaking running ability in the Gators’ 34-10 win over the Commodores. He finished with 215 passing yards, 49 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including a 33-yard TD run.

Co-Freshman of the Week

Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia

Nick Chubb wins an SEC weekly award? Stop me if you’ve heard that one before. Chubb continued his incredible tear with another strong performance. He gashed Kentucky’s defense for 170 rushing yards and added another touchdown to his already impressive season. During Gurley’s absence, Chubb more than filled in for the UGA star, rushing for 671 yards and five touchdowns on 102 carries.

Offensive Lineman of the Week

Arie Koaundjio, OL, Alabama

Koaundjio tuned in another standout performance for the Crimson Tide, grading out at 92 percent which was the highest of any other offensive lineman on the team in Alabama’s overtime win over LSU. The offensive line allowed no sacks and no quarterback pressures against a stout LSU defensive line. Koaundjio also added three knockdowns.

Defensive Lineman of the Week

Lorenzo Carter, DL, Georgia

Saturday was Carter’s first career start in Georgia’s 3-4 defense and the move paid off significantly. In place of future NFL first-rounder Leonard Floyd, Carter recorded 2.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss to go along with nine total tackles. Carter appears to be on the verge of becoming UGA’s next great pass rusher.
