Just like the polls and power ratings, Vegas has been quite impressed by the SEC so far this season.
The league placed six teams in the top 25 — including half of the eight highest-ranked teams — of ESPN’s consensus Vegas power ratings released Tuesday. The results are a combination of power ratings from ESPN’s Phil Steele and Will Harris, Bruce Marshall of the Gold Sheet and the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.

[table “” not found /]Steele notes that these rankings don’t necessarily reflect a team’s record, instead showing “which team would be favored if meeting at a neutral site.”
Alabama and Georgia claimed the top two spots, respectively, though the Crimson Tide extended its point differential from 4.9 last week to 8.2 in the newest ranking. The other four SEC teams ranked in the AP Top 25 — Auburn, Mississippi State, LSU and Texas A&M — also appeared in the bettor ranking.
