Alabama’s defense has gotten some good news over the last two days.
First, pass-rushing beast Tim Williams announced that he’d be returning to the Crimson Tide after much speculation that he may possibly enter the NFL Draft. Now, safety Eddie Jackson has also said that he’ll be playing one more season in Tuscaloosa.
The All-American made the announcement via Twitter on Thursday:

In Alabama’s 45-40 win over Clemson on Monday, he was named the national championship Defensive Player of the Game after posting 3 tackles and an interception.
His pick of Clemson QB Deshaun Watson in the second quarter of the game stole some momentum and set the Crimson Tide up in Clemson territory. The team capitalized with a touchdown to tie the game 14-14.
That interception was one of six on the season for Jackson, who returned two for touchdowns. His 230 interception return yards set the school’s single-season record.
