Bridges shared Sunday that he intends to make his college commitment on Friday, July 14. He’s a long-time target of the Longhorns who previously announced a top 9 that also includes Arkansas, LSU, Texas A&M, USC, Oregon, Texas Tech, TCU and Oklahoma.

Here’s his announcement:

He attends Lake Belton High School in Temple, Texas. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 170 pounds.

Bridges previously took an official visit to Austin back in June. He also made trips to Arkansas and TCU.

Texas currently has 13 commitments in the class of 2024. Eight of those 13 prospects hail from the Lone Star State. Overall, UT’s class is ranked No. 18 in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
