Shane Beamer is going with Zeb Noland again. The news was shared on “SEC Nation” and “College GameDay.”

The grad assistant-turned-QB1 is getting the nod as South Carolina’s starting quarterback on Saturday at ECU. Noland got the start in the Gamecocks’ Week 1 win over Eastern Illinois, going 13-of-21 passing for 121 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Luke Doty was seen as South Carolina’s QB1 throughout the offseason. Doty is recovering from a foot injury in a fall camp. Doty recently said he “feels fine” and expected to be “100 percent” for Saturday, but Noland will get the start on Saturday.

The South Carolina-ECU game is set for a noon kickoff in Greenville, North Carolina. The game is airing on ESPN2.
