Shane Beamer shares update on Juice Wells and Nyckoles Harbor

The season is almost here for the South Carolina Gamecocks as they take on No. 21 North Carolina on Saturday in Charlotte at 7:30 pm.
South Carolina coach Shane Beamer spoke with the media on Tuesday, and provided some updates on the team and players. A couple key players he spoke about were Juice Wells and Nyckoles Harbor, and Beamer expects to see them on the field Saturday.
“Nyck Harbor practiced today and Juice Wells practiced today,” Beamer said. “I have no issues with those guys and fully expect to see them on Saturday night.”
Beamer was especially complementary of Wells’ recovery, saying he was proud of the work he put in to get healthy.
“He got out there and did a little work with the training room yesterday,” Beamer said. “He was out there with a couple of our strength coaches, one of our trainers and myself and we just kind of watched him do some things. I am proud of him and the way he has fought to come back and get back from that injury, as well as Nyck Harbor and it was good to see them out there running around.”
Having a healthy team will be big for the Gamecocks, as they will be playing a very good North Carolina team.
