Shane Ray on the move, former Missouri star inks new deal with Baltimore Ravens

Needing help rushing the passer, Baltimore has reached an agreement with Shane Ray to join the franchise for the upcoming NFL season. Missouri fans know best how wise of a move this could be for the Ravens.
Ray, a former first-round pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2015 NFL Draft, has registered only 14 sacks in his four NFL seasons but the change of scenery could be good for the former Mizzou standout pass rusher. If you recall, Ray had 14.5 sacks during his final season in Columbia, and if he can recapture that pass rushing magic, this signing could prove to be one of the steals of the offseason.
The Ravens decision to sign Ray was first reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, who cites the pass rusher must pass a physical before the signing is official. ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter is also reporting the news.
One aspect of Ray’s game he needs to improve is his durability. In his first four seasons, Ray has only managed to play all 16 games in a season once.
