The Auburn Tigers have been waiting for the NCAA to make a ruling on the eligibility of 5-star freshman PG Sharife Cooper all season.
Now, it appears there has been at least some sort of resolution in the case, as big news broke ahead of Auburn’s showdown against rival Alabama on Saturday.
Per Stadium’s Jeff Goodman, Cooper will make his college debut when the Tigers take on the Crimson Tide in an important SEC battle:

This will be a huge boost for coach Bruce Pearl’s team, especially since the Tigers will be playing without another key freshman in Justin Powell.
The game tips off at noon Eastern time on Saturday and can be seen on ESPN2.
