It’s just NBA Summer League, but Sharife Cooper’s pro career is off to a scorching start.
After scoring double-digits in his Summer League debut, Cooper followed up with an even more impressive box score. In his debut, the Atlanta Hawks rookie missed his only 3-point attempt. This time, Cooper showed he can shoot the 3-ball, nailing a game-winner from beyond the arc.

Cooper finished with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field, including 5-of-8 on 3-pointers. He also had 9 assists.
It’s a bit early to be talking Rookie of the Year, but if Cooper keeps draining 3s, he could be in for a special first season in the league.
