Shedeur Sanders, Jackson State QB, completes first 16 passes, TD to South Carolina transfer
Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the son of Jackson State head coach and former NFL superstar Deion Sanders, is putting on a clinic Sunday.
The sophomore opened the Tigers’ game against Florida A&M with 16 consecutive completions, including a 29-yard touchdown pass to Rico Sanders, a transfer from South Carolina.

The younger Sanders was a revelation a year ago, passing for more than 3,200 yards and 30 touchdowns as a freshmen.
And if the start to his 2022 campaign is any indication, he’ll shatter those marks this year.
Jackson State leads A&M 21-0 late in the second quarter and Sanders is 18-of-20 for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns.
