Shi Smith scored his first NFL touchdown with some help from another former South Carolina Gamecock.

Jaycee Horn picked off Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith and returned the ball to the 13-yard line. From there, the Carolina Panthers needed only 1 play to score. Panthers QB Sam Darnold hit Smith for the touchdown, the first of his professional career.

Smith is in his second professional season. He entered Sunday having played in 18 games for the Panthers, recording 20 catches for 272 yards. The TD was his first catch of the game.

The Panthers are up 10-0 on the Seahawks in the 1st quarter. The game is airing on FOX.
