Shootout in Columbia! Fans react to thrilling game between Mizzou and LSU

Saturday’s LSU-Mizzou game has already been one of the most-exciting games of the day.
We’ve had several passing touchdowns, a couple of muffed punts, a failed fake punt and a flea flicker, and there are still 2 quarters left to go! At halftime, the 2 teams are tied 24-24.
Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz’s offense has looked potent and dangerous thus far, while LSU’s Myles Brennan-to-Terrace Marshall Jr. connection is in full force.
Fans and media members had some strong reactions to the shootout taking place in Columbia:
Yeah, I think I’m okay with Drinkwitz being both the head coach and offensive coordinator.

I bet Drinkwitz would be so, so good at Madden

I don't know what kind of misdirection Drinkwitz is dialing up, but the fact that LSU burned all of their timeouts with 5 minutes left in the first half speaks volumes

This @LSUfootball defense is making me want to Drinkwitz

Eli Drinkwitz has the LSU defense on skates right now

Starting to see what this Mizzou offense can become under Drinkwitz, and it is *fun*.

Mizzou playing better on defense than I thought they would.
I knew LSU would be hard pressed on defense but yeah…Pelini may be packing his bags before the season is out

Thoughts on the first half:
1. Galaxy Brain Drinkwitz has been unleashed and it is so much fun.
2. Connor Bazelak certainly seems like the right man to run his system.
3. If you're LSU, you do everything in your power to go back to Gilbert and Marshall. #Mizzou

This game was originally supposed to be played in Baton Rouge, but was moved to Columbia due to Hurricane Delta.
Will the home-field advantage help Mizzou pull off an upset? The second half starts soon!
