Sidney Williams made it a busy day on Saturday for Missouri.

Williams, a former Florida State safety, announced a commitment to the Tigers. He followed former Ole Miss wide receiver Dannis Jackson and former Arizona State defensive end Joe Moore as players to commit to the Tigers Saturday.

Williams started 4 games for Florida State in 2021, but had a lesser role as a redshirt sophomore in 2022. This past season, he recorded 12 total tackles across 10 games. Williams will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.

He was a 3-star prospect in the class of 2020. Williams was ranked as the No. 559 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He was also the No. 23 player from the state of Alabama.

He’s from New Orleans, but played high school football at Vigor in Alabama. He originally chose FSU over the likes of Auburn and Ole Miss.
