Social media reacts to former Ohio State assistant Zach Smith’s Twitter tirade
By Jake Rill
Published:
Zach Smith took to Twitter on Wednesday, and the former Ohio State wide receivers coach had plenty to say.
Smith is not pleased with how the saga at Ohio State has unfolded. He was fired when domestic violence allegations became public, a two-week investigation took place and coach Urban Meyer received a three-game suspension.
Meanwhile, Smith is still defending himself, stating that he never beat his ex-wife and that these punishments should not have been handed out. Smith also called out college football reporter Brett McMurphy, who broke many of the reports regarding Smith and the Ohio State situation.
It didn’t take long for other members of the media and social media users to comment on Smith’s Twitter tirade.
Here’s some of the reaction from social media:
This dude is melting down in real time…. https://t.co/IVWDQ3ZvB1

At the end of the day Zach isn’t doing himself or Urban any good today.

Zach Smith in mid-Twitter manifesto/meltdown, if anyone cares to watch a real-time train wreck. Not helping himself or anyone else in the whole sorry Ohio State saga.
