Social media trolls Texas A&M fan who was arrested and released to ‘sober wife’
Social media never takes a break, and on Saturday afternoon as No. 25 Texas A&M was taking down No. 9 Missouri in a 41-10 shocker in College Station, an Aggies fan who apparently had a little too much to drink was given the predictable royal treatment.
The Texas A&M Police Department tweeted out that it had responded to the intoxicated fan who was sitting in Section 232 at Kyle Field. But that was only a part of the story. The police department also shared that the fan was released to his “sober wife” and then ejected.
Responded to an intoxicated subject. Section 232. Released to sober wife. Ejected. #BTHOmissouri

This isn’t exactly what Texas A&M means by the 12th Man. In this unfortunate case, it was a drunk man who couldn’t stay under control as his Aggies were putting on a clinic against the previously undefeated Tigers. Instead, the man became a social media magnet and was properly roasted for his actions.
Very few universal truths in this world but here's one: You do NOT want to be released to sober wife. https://t.co/EuNu9UBzbx

Amid the celebration in College Station for one of Texas A&M’s biggest wins in many years, there was a guy in Section 232 whose day turned from wonderful to weird to, most likely, forgettable after he was released to that sober wife who probably wasn’t any more forgiving than the Aggies defense was in Saturday’s dominant effort.
