Cornerback Baylen Buchanan, son of former NFL star cornerback Ray Buchanan, has been offered by Tennessee.
The 5-foot-11, 188-pound Buchanan, a three-star prospect from Suwanee, Ga., had been committed to his father’s alma mater at Louisville before backing out of his pledge.
Buchanan announced his offer from the Vols on social media.

Buchanan had been committed to the Cardinals for nearly six months before reopening his recruitment earlier this week.
He’s also been offered by Georgia, Oklahoma, Iowa, Wisconsin and Nebraska just to name a few.
Baylen’s father, Ray, was a 12-year veteran in the NFL and played for the Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts and Oakland Raiders during his career. Buchanan was a Pro Bowler in 1998, when he recorded 7 interceptions. That wasn’t even Buchanan’s best season in terms of INTs as he picked off eight in 1994, returning three for touchdowns.
