Former Alabama QB Jay Barker, now a popular radio personality in Birmingham, led the Crimson Tide to the 1993 national championship.
Now, his son is apparently following in his dad’s footsteps, as he announced he was committing to Alabama on Monday afternoon.
As you can see in the tweet below, Braxton Barker said he’s going to head to Tuscaloosa to join the Tide in 2018:

Barker has not been rated by 247Sports or the other major recruiting sites, so it’s likely that he’s only walking on with the Crimson Tide.
However, he’ll have a chance to follow in his dad’s footsteps and win a title for himself under Nick Saban’s leadership.
