Sony Michel explains how Nick Chubb inspired him to be a better running back
Georgia may never have another running back duo like it had in Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.
While the Bulldogs are certainly going to have talented runners continue to filter in and out of the program for years to come, the unique combination of leadership, talent, service, and sacrifice from both players is rare in today’s world, not just in the world of college football.
That being said, the two Georgia backs still have a long way to go before their journeys on the gridiron are complete. With their NFL dreams looming large and so close to being a reality, both players will be in the spotlight over the next few weeks before learning where they will wind up playing next season at the professional level.
During the lead up to the 2018 NFL Draft, Sony Michel recently visited NFL Network headquarters in Los Angeles to take part in the Path to the Draft segment breaking down his game, as well as the game of his teammate Chubb. In the segment below, Michel explains that the power displayed by Chubb inspired him to get stronger and be a better running back himself.
