Sony Michel reportedly still hasn’t been cleared for contact, according to Anthony Dasher of UGASports.com. Dasher attended Georgia’s practice Tuesday and claimed the tailback is still being limited to non-contact drills based on his observations.

Michel underwent successful surgery on his left forearm following an ATV accident in July. Head coach Kirby Smart told reporters the junior had a “six-to-eight-week recovery period” days after his procedure.
Michel dressed out for Georgia’s 33-24 win over North Carolina Saturday, but only participated in warm-ups. On Monday, Smart told reporter Michel still hadn’t been cleared so it would be the doctors’ decision on when that will take place.

Michel led the Bulldogs with 1,161 yards and eight touchdowns on 219 rushing attempts after replacing injured teammate Nick Chubb as the team’s primary back midway through the 2015 season. He recorded more than 100 yards four times in that span, including a career-best 165-yard performance against Kentucky.
