Arizona Western College cornerback Keisean Nixon announced his decision to commit to South Carolina on Wednesday morning.

Nixon (6-foot, 200 pounds), a three-star, is the No. 21 overall JUCO prospect in the 2017 recruiting class and ranks as a top-five DB. He chose the Gamecocks over Tennessee, despite taking an official visit to Knoxville over the weekend.

He also had offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Missouri and others.

Nixon is expected to be cross-trained at multiple positions and will enroll next month. His addition gives coach Will Muschamp 22 total commits in what is shaping out to be a stellar class for the Gamecocks.
