UPDATE: Will Muschamp updated Jamarcus King’s injury at halftime.

As exciting as the spring games are for fans and those starved for SEC football action, coaches are hoping to see their teams avoid injuries while facing live action.

Unfortunately for the South Carolina Gamecocks, CB Jamarcus King suffered what appeared to be a major arm injury during Saturday’s action:

If the senior’s arm is broken, that’s bad news for coach Will Muschamp’s defense. As a junior in 2016, he recorded three interceptions, 56 tackles and a forced fumble.

Coming out of junior college last year, King was the No. 2 overall JUCO corner in the class of 2016. He was expected to be one of the leaders of the Gamecocks’ secondary this fall.
