South Carolina delivers perfect Sandstorm-themed troll after upsetting Tennessee

South Carolina shocked No. 5 Tennessee Saturday night 63-38. That knocked Tennessee completely out of the College Football Playoff race.

Spencer Rattler torched Tennessee’s defense, completing 30-of-37 passes for 438 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Gamecocks dialed up 606 total yards of offense against the Vols defense. Tennessee didn’t have an answer all night.

South Carolina is known for playing the “Sandstorm” song by Finnish DJ Darude that was released in 1999. Williams-Brice Stadium gets loud when Sandstorm is blasting through the speakers.

So, it was only appropriate for USC to deliver a Sandstorm-themed troll after the massive upset win. Tennessee’s helmet is almost completely buried in the sand.

The shocking upset gives Shane Beamer a landmark victory in Columbia and one he can build around for the future.

That wasn’t all, however, from South Carolina’s social media team. Beamer was trolled for his reaction during last year’s 45-20 loss to Tennessee. The reaction happened when it was 38-7. So, USC’s media team emptied the chamber with the perfect edit.

And another.
