South Carolina dips into Alabama to pick up commitment from 2021 wide receiver

The South Carolina Gamecocks are off to a bit of a slow start on the 2021 recruiting trails, but they landed player No. 17 for their class on Thursday.
That’s when WR Rodarius Thomas — a native of Eufala, Alabama — announced he was committing to Will Muschamp’s program.
As you can see below, Thomas announced his decision via Twitter on Thursday afternoon:

Thomas has yet to be rated by the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-1 receiver is the fifth wide receiver in the Gamecocks’ 2021 class.
The Gamecocks now have 17 players in their 2021 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 42 in the nation and No. 12 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
